Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1969-1988, 1995-2007
Ende 1969 präsentierte Chevrolet das Coupé Monte Carlo welcher auf dem Chevrolet Chevelle basierte. Weitere Modelle auf gleicher Basis waren Pontiac Grand Prix, Oldsmobile Cutlass und Buick Regal. 1972 wurde der Monte Carlo durch einen komplett überarbeiteten Monte Carlo abgelöst (1H/1A) welcher jährlich geändert wurde und 1977 vom Monte Carlo (1A/1G) abgelöst wurde. Dieser wurde 1988 vorerst ohne Nachfolger eingestellt, beziehungsweise hiess der Nachfolger Lumina Coupé. 1994 belebte Chevrolet den Namen Monte Carlo wieder und löste damit das Lumina Coupé ab. 1999 folgte eine komplette Überarbeitung und 2007 wurde der Monte Carlo wieder eingestellt.
